Welcome to Aevere (“Aevere,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We provide wellness products and digital wellness tools intended to support migraine-friendly routines and daily self-care.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use:

  • Our website at aevere.com and related web pages (the “Website”); and

  • Our mobile application and related digital experiences (the “App”).

Together, the Website and App are the “Services.”

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Important: Aevere is not a medical provider. The Services are for wellness support only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.


2) App Store–Specific Privacy Summary (iOS / Apple)

This section is a plain-language summary designed to help you understand the App’s data practices. The full details appear in the rest of this Privacy Policy.

What the App may collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact Info: name, email address, phone number (if provided)

  • Account Info: login credentials (stored securely), profile details

  • Wellness Data (Sensitive): information you choose to log (e.g., migraine patterns, symptoms, triggers, routines, notes)

  • Identifiers: device identifiers and app instance identifiers

  • Usage Data: screens viewed, feature interactions, session duration

  • Diagnostics: crash logs, performance data, error reports

  • Purchases (if applicable): subscription status, transaction metadata (payments are processed by third-party processors; we do not store full card numbers)

How the App uses data

  • Provide and improve App features

  • Personalize your experience (based on what you choose to enter)

  • Maintain account security and prevent fraud

  • Customer support and service communications

  • Analytics and debugging

App tracking

  • We do not use the App to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for targeted advertising unless we clearly notify you and obtain any permissions required by law and platform rules (including Apple’s AppTrackingTransparency framework, if applicable).

Data linked to you

Some data (like contact info and account info) may be linked to your identity to operate your account and provide the Services.

Your controls

  • You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data (see Section 12)

  • You can delete your account (see Section 12)


3) Google Play Data Safety Summary

If you access our App via Google Play, the App may collect and process categories similar to those described above, including:

  • Personal info (name, email, phone if provided)

  • Health & wellness information you choose to log

  • App activity (usage, interactions)

  • Diagnostics (crash logs, performance)

We use this information to provide App functionality, maintain security, improve the Services, and support users. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use wellness data for advertising.

  • Sleep, hydration, food, stress, routine factors (as you choose to track)

  • Notes, reflections, and other self-reported wellness context

Support & Communications

  • Messages you send us via email, forms, surveys, or support channels

App

  4. Improve and secure the Services

    • analytics, debugging, quality assurance, fraud prevention, security monitoring

  5. Marketing (Website and email)

    • send newsletters and promotions where permitted; you can opt out anytime

    • we do not use identifiable Wellness Data for advertising

  6. Legal, compliance, and protection

    • comply with legal obligations; enforce policies; protect rights, safety, and prevent abuse


6) Website-Specific Practices (Aevere.com)

A) Analytics and advertising tools we use on the Website

The Website uses:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure Website performance and usage

  • Meta Pixel to measure advertising performance and help improve campaigns

  • Mailchimp to manage emails and newsletters

These tools may use cookies and similar technologies to collect data about your device and interactions with the Website.

B) Email communications (Mailchimp)

If you subscribe or purchase, we may send:

  • Transactional emails (receipts, shipping updates, important notices)

  • Marketing emails (optional; opt out via unsubscribe link)


7) App-Specific Practices

A) Wellness Data and sensitive information

Wellness Data is sensitive. We use it only to:

  • provide App features and personalization

  • improve service quality and user experience

  • maintain security and integrity of the Services

We do not sell Wellness Data and do not use it for targeted advertising.

B) Push notifications

If enabled, we may send push notifications (e.g., reminders, updates). You can control notifications through your device settings.

C) Future integrations (optional)

If we offer integrations (e.g., Apple Health, Google Fit, wearables), we will:

  • request your permission before connecting

  • allow you to disconnect anytime

  • use integration data only to provide the feature you enable


8) Consumer Health Data Notice (Important)

Some state privacy laws treat health-related information as “consumer health data” even when it is not regulated by HIPAA. Because Aevere supports wellness tracking related to migraines, the App may collect consumer health data when you choose to enter it.

What consumer health data may include

  • migraine-related wellness entries

  • symptom notes, routine factors, triggers

  • wellness reflections, stress/sleep/hydration logs

Why we collect it

  • to provide App features and user-requested wellness insights

  • to improve App performance, reliability, and user experience

  • to maintain security and prevent fraud

How we share it

  • only with service providers who help us run the Services (cloud hosting, diagnostics, customer support tools), under contract

  • we do not sell consumer health data

  • we do not share consumer health data for targeted advertising

You may request access to or deletion of consumer health data as described in Section 12.


9) Cookies, Tracking Technologies, and Preference Controls

A) Cookies on the Website

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Website functionality (cart/session management)

  • analytics (GA4)

  • advertising measurement (Meta Pixel)

B) Managing cookies

You can control cookies through:

  • your browser settings (block/delete cookies)

  • any cookie banner or preference tool we may provide (if enabled)

Blocking cookies may impact site functionality.

C) “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. There is no universal standard, so we do not respond to all DNT signals. Where legally required, we will honor valid opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC).


10) How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to provide the Services, including with:

  • Payment processors (to process transactions)

  • Shipping/fulfillment providers (to deliver orders)

  • Email platforms (Mailchimp)

  • Analytics providers (GA4 and similar tools)

  • Advertising measurement providers (Meta Pixel on the Website)

  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers (for secure data storage and processing)

  • Security and fraud prevention providers

  • Customer support tools (if used)

All service providers are required to protect your data and use it only under our instructions.

We do not sell personal information

Aevere does not sell personal information for money.

No sharing of Wellness Data for targeted advertising

We do not share identifiable Wellness Data with advertisers, ad networks, or data brokers for targeted advertising.


11) Legal and Regulatory Notes (HIPAA, FTC, and Wellness Apps)

A) HIPAA

HIPAA generally applies to healthcare providers, health plans, and certain healthcare intermediaries (“covered entities” and “business associates”). Aevere is typically not a covered entity. However, we apply HIPAA-aligned safeguards for sensitive wellness data and may enter Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) where required if we ever provide Services on behalf of a covered entity.

B) FTC Health Breach Notification Rule

If applicable, we will comply with the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule and applicable state breach notification laws, including notifying affected users and regulators when required.


12) Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access your personal information

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Delete personal information

  • Export/port your information (where feasible)

  • Opt out of certain processing (as applicable)

We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

B) Account deletion (App)

You may request deletion of your App account and associated data by contacting hello@aevere.com. Where supported, we may also provide in-app deletion controls. Some information may be retained as required by law (e.g., transaction records).

C) Marketing opt-out

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in the email. You may still receive transactional/service emails.

D) State privacy rights (including California)

If you are a resident of California or other applicable U.S. states with privacy laws, you may have additional rights (e.g., the right to know, delete, correct, or opt out of certain sharing). Aevere does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.


13) Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide the Services

  • maintain security and prevent fraud

  • comply with legal obligations

  • resolve disputes and enforce agreements

Typical examples:

  • Account data is retained while your account is active

  • Order/transaction records may be retained for legal, accounting, and tax requirements

  • Backup copies may persist for a limited time as part of routine disaster recovery, then are overwritten or securely deleted


14) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15) International Users

Our Services are intended for users in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be processed and stored in the United States (or other locations where our service providers operate), subject to this Privacy Policy.


16) Children’s Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.


17) Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting an updated policy on the Website, in the App, or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
